Division of Damascus in tourist districts in line with the MAM project on modernization of cities, launched in 2005 in partnership with the European Union and the Ministry of Local Administration, Damascus has been divided into 6 tourist districts so that tourists do not get lost anymore in the labyrinths of this ancient city.
