EU funding of 10 million euros for the development of economic pole Elakaba. New technologies have been introduced to ensure better quality control of consumer products through laboratory tests conducted at Ibn Hayen. The movement of goods and the rehabilitation of the port are also on the menu. The objective is to develop the economic potential of the area and attract more investors in Jordan.

Support of the European Union in the education sector in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, provision of modern hardware and equipment, expansion of classroom training and mentoring staff.
The inhabitants of Dembo, a small locality situated in north Lebanon, undergo very difficult living conditions, the village has benefited from an EU financial aid estimated at 300.000 Euros. This amount allowed the equipment of the village health center, the construction of a training center for students as well as sport center in addition to the acquisition of computing equipments and an irrigation system.
On the other hand, the Palestinian refugee camp of Sabra and Chatila has received a donation of 400.000 in the form of medical equipments and electrical energy generators
Adchit is another village located in south Lebanon. It has benefited from a donation of 300.000 Euros destined for the digging of an artesian well that helped in the irrigation of agricultural lands in addition to the building of a cultural center.
