A musical by Syrian compositor Hassan Taha, jointly with Renaissance art society, with support of European Union. The title is "From Cadmus to Europe". Syrians and europeans musicians have participated at the achievment of that work. It has been sung with chorus of SOS children.

The delegation of the European Union has made a donation of 60 kidney dialysis machines to the health ministry , 20 machines were destined to the public hospitals of Damascus and 40 ones were given to public hospitals of various provinces over the country .
The modernization of the health sector in Syria stands in the core of the Syrian government and the European Union concerns having as a main objective the improvement of the Syrian citizens and the Iraqi refugees in Syria health care .
This initiative is part of the development plan of the health sector considered as the most important cooperation program which budget amounts to 39 million Euros

Playing grounds for youth and children have been fitted out in various quarters of Homs city located at some 150 kms north of Damascus .These playing grounds allow them to practice sport in a secure and safe environment .
