1ST ITEM
The European delegation in Amman is constantly helping the Jordanian education system, with a view to improving the quality and the relevance of education to the needs of the labor market, which is in a constant evolution. In this respect, the delegation has recently launched the 5th tempus program kick off at the Jordanian university. This program aims at improving university governance and at upgrading the classes and contents of Jordanian universities.
2ND ITEM
“Thousand and one issues” is the title of a professional training program targeting TV journalists working at JRTV . Organized by the Jordanian information and communication institute in collaboration with JRTV .The training session, financed by the European Union, aims at teaching trainees how to make a good news story.
3RD ITEM
The twinning project destined to the rehabilitation of penal institutions in Jordan has recently wound up after 18 months of intense cooperation activity. The project is part of the support program for the implementation of the EU - Jordanian association agreement. Training sessions and workshops have been organized to help the employees of these institutions to develop their skills and competences.
