1/ Micro projects for rural women
The rural woman in the province of l'Aghouat located at some 400 km south of Algiers has benefited from various micro projects as part of partnership between Algeria and the European Union .Handicraft ,agriculture and many other activities and proximity projects have allowed these women to improve their living conditions.
2/ Rural proximity program
Three pilot provinces throughout the country have been selected to launch the rural proximity program implemented as part of the rural renewal policy led by Algeria in partnership with the European Union, thus the rural zones of Bouira province situated at some 120 KM south east of Algiers ,have benefited from various projects aimed at developing agriculture and improving the inhabitants living conditions.
3/ Disabled people training
A disabled people association in the province of Ain Defla, some 150 KM west of Algiers spare no efforts to help the handicapped of the region. Thanks to the assistance of the European Union, the association managed to setup a training center to ensure a better insertion of the handicapped in the socio economic life.
